Theatre Tots:
Theatre Tots classes are for 2 – 4 year olds. It was set up in 2007 by actress, teacher and mum Laura Sydonie. The class is an action packed 45 minutes to inspire young imaginations.
Children are constant entertainment to themselves and others. Theatre Tots is an opportunity to explore those early imaginations, discover new skills and make lasting friendships. The class takes them through games, mimes and imitation, tongue twisters, costumes, stories, characters, sock puppets, props and songs. Themes change every 6 – 8 weeks and all the stories and songs are original. All speaking is accompanied by actions so younger ones can participate and have something to develop towards. The focus is on creative play, social, physical and vocal awareness in a confidence-building environment. And of course fun! The class is interactive and parents and carers are encouraged to join in the fun. Dressing up and silliness are very welcome!
Theatre Babes:
Theatre babes classes are for 6 – 18 months. They follow a similar structure to the older class but with more focus on the senses. Music, touchy feely stories, sock puppets and much more. Themes change every 6 – 8 weeks and all the stories and music are original. Older siblings are welcome and activities are provided to keep them busy while you concentrate on the little one.
